TJ Thompson, Director and Producer at iMintmedia, gives a quick explanation of how easy it is to use a BMD Atem with PresetMaster, in the weekly&live X-keys Five Minute Friday.
The PresetMaster software automatically recognizes which BMD Atem Switcher is connected, so all data, like maximum amount of inputs, aux outputs and Macro’s, is incorporated in the Presets tab. Therefore, every function of any Atem can be recalled in PresetMaster! Just select which inputs and what transition styles you’d like to use, or maybe you only want to use a few camera’s on an auxiliary output? Or do you have multiple Macro’s with different SuperSource settings? For every option you can create your own and unique custom made touch screen panel!
The T-Rider is another development of the PresetMaster Team and it’s the world’s most affordable remote-controlled camera dolly. T-Rider is a unique track system and with PresetMaster you get ultimate control over over your PTZ camera/dolly system so more dynamics are ensured in your production!
Add as many Panasonic PTZ camera’s (AW-HE40, AW-HE60, AW-UE70 and AW-HE130) as you like and control them individually or simultaneously. You can copy all presets that were created with a Panasonic remote Panel, like the AW-RP50 or AW-RP120, but you can also set parameters like horizontal and vertical position, as well as zoom angle, within the PresetMaster and store this new settings as a new preset. Subsequently you can give a recognizable name to each preset and let the most important ones stand out with special colors, sizes or fonts in the Live tab.
Controlling a Hyperdeck Studio or a Hyperdeck Studio Mini is one of the greatest features of PresetMaster! Whether you use PresetMaster on a wireless tablet or on a wired laptop, you have full remote control of all your Hyperdecks and even more! It’s very easy to start or stop recording all hyperdecks at the same time, and selecting and starting one of the recorded clips is a very simple task. But the real power is unleashed when various speed settings and carefully measured time delays are combined to turn a hyperdeck in a very easy-to-operate slowmotion replay machine!
A: Select an output on any BMD VideoHub. B: Select which input you want on that output. C: Repeat A en B to create as much ‘routing-presets’ as you like. It’s just that easy to create your own custom switching panel with only the changes you want on your videoHub, as if it was another Aux output. Simple, efficient, reliable!
Create direct buttons for your preferred scope or video source on each of the monitors, or make up and down buttons to toggle up or down between all of the available scopes or video source.
Datavideo’s all new KMU-100 is a unique 4K multi-camera production solution that delivers multiple ‘virtual’ full HD scaled camera angles. PresetMaster gives the ultimate control of these camera angles by making it possible to create an unlimited amount of presets. Within the borders of the 4K picture you have zoom, pan and tilt controls to create the perfect framing. Besides the option to store this shot as a fixed angle, it is also possible to use one of the great features of the KMU100: animation of the shot via a predetermined speed setting. This way it’s possible to create fluid and perfect camera moves!
The Datavideo SE-1200MU is a small 1 rack unit but full video switcher and all of it’s switching capabilities can be controlled with PresetMaster. You can create a custom designed switching Panel, with all options to choose sources, keying layers and transitions. Besides that, within PresetMaster you have full control of the hardware outputs as well: choose directly what you send out to your livestream, big screens or your own own screen: you can even toggle between the multiview output and a full screen camera!
